Wavelength

Media

In 2007 I founded Wavelength Media LLC, a consulting group focusing on a broad scope of the television and videoeco system. Wavelength has worked on both long term consulting and specific projects with traditional and new media companies as well as content creators, talent agencies, private equity and law firms. A partial list of Wavelength clients includes:

Discovery Communications, Cadent Networks, Content Partners, Everyday Health Inc, Talk Center America/Video Call Center, Ipowow, Prospect Talk/The On Line Network, Warner Bros TV, New Regency Productions, Participant Media, Ion Television, WME, 3 Arts Management, Endemol, USA, Time Inc, TV One, Dick Wolf Films, Judge Judy, Dr. Phil and Jay McGraw, ITV-America, Ziffren-Brittenham Law Firm, Gibson Dunn and O'Melveny & Meyers.

Prior to forming Wavelength Media in 2007, I held the title of President of Worldwide Television Distribution for Paramount Pictures and its successor CBS/ Paramount Television Distribution. Annual revenues for the division averaged more than $1 billion. My global responsibilities included the sales and marketing of Paramount’s motion picture, current network, off network and first run television programs to the domestic and international broadcast, cable and satellite markets.

In my capacity as President of Domestic Television and later President of Worldwide Television Distribution, my responsibilities involved overseeing the development and production of all first run series produced by Paramount, including Entertainment Tonight, Dr. Phil, Judge Judy and The Insider. At the time, with more than 20 hours of weekly production, Paramount was the leading producer of first run programming to the domestic television market. As President of Worldwide Television I was involved in supervising negotiations for Paramount productions as well as co production of programs with channels in territories throughout the world.

Over the course of a 25 year career at Paramount, I held a number of management positions in NY and Los Angeles including Executive Vice President- Sales & Marketing and President – Domestic Television. In these positions, I lead the team that was charged with marketing the largest library of television programs in the U.S. This included the off network launch, advertising sales strategy and the library sales of such iconic television shows as Frasier, Cheers, NCIS, I Love Lucy, Charmed, Girlfriends, Andy Griffith, Taxi and the entire Star Trek franchise, Star Trek, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine,
